A Heart-full Holiday Season: Thank You from Wesson and Mothershed Eye Center

holidays blogsThe holiday season is a time to spread joy and gratitude, and at Wesson and Mothershed Eye Center, we strive to make a meaningful difference in our local community. We believe in the power of giving back and fostering a spirit of goodwill and compassion, which is why we actively support various charitable initiatives throughout the year.

As an independent eye care center, we take pride in our involvement with numerous charitable organizations. Each organization uplifts and enriches people's lives in Tupelo and its surrounding areas. It's with gratitude that we look back at 2023 and celebrate the impact of our community projects.

Our Charitable Initiatives: Making a Difference in Tupelo

Our involvement with organizations such as the Tupelo Women's Club, United Way, Sanctuary Hospice House, and the Parkgate Pregnancy Center underscores our dedication to causes that positively impact the well-being and health of our community members. Additionally, our support extends to initiatives like the Take a Swing at Cancer Health Care Foundation, Boys and Girls Club Dance like the Stars, and the Tupelo-Lee Humane Society, reflecting our commitment to a diverse range of causes that are close to our hearts and the community we serve.

Fostering Hope and Health: A Commitment to the Community

As part of our commitment to the community, we work closely with organizations such as the Community Development Fund, Tupelo Children's Mansion, and the Tupelo Junior Auxiliary-Eye Exams and Glasses for Children in Need. To promote all community members' health and well-being, we have partnered with the Tupelo Tree of Life Free Clinic and the Good Samaritan Free Clinic this year to ensure everyone can access quality eye care.

Spreading Light and Positivity: Brightening Lives and Inspiring Change

At Wesson and Mothershed Eye Center, we believe in spreading light and positivity, and 2023 marks our involvement in local events such as the Eight Days of Hope, the Hope 5K Run for Breast Cancer Awareness, and the Blue Steel Challenge for Crime Stoppers. Our partnership with the VFW Annual Benefit for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital highlights our commitment to supporting vital institutions that bring about positive change and hope for the future.

As the holiday season approaches, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to our valued customers, patients, and the entire community for another year of unwavering support and trust in our community eye care. We wish you all a joyous holiday season filled with warmth and cheer!
